FastTek Global in Dearborn, Michigan seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications. You will work across the entire lifecycle, shaping architecture, implementing APIs and microservices, and driving best practices with a focus on performance and security.

Applicants should have 6+ years in full-stack development using Java, Spring Boot and Angular, plus hands-on experience with GCP, CI/CD pipelines, and modern testing approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6+ years in full-stack development with Java/Spring/Angular
• Experience with GCP and Tekton Pipelines
• Implementation of CI/CD practices
• Experience with JIRA or Rally and Agile practices
• Strong testing and quality-driven delivery

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy software across full stack.
• Assess tech stacks and deployment strategies for new projects.
• Create high-level designs outlining components and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, design and architecture teams.
• Define and implement testing strategies and quality controls.
• Improve performance and adopt new technologies.
• Support secure coding practices and data protection.
• Develop back-end APIs and microservices.
