Responsibilities
- Ensure software scalability and data integrity across all claims-related applications.
- Align software and applications with overall business, IT, and infrastructure strategies.
- Identify, design, and direct the implementation of strategies for maintaining JURIS data and application integration.
- Collaborate with management and colleagues across CMS to develop designs and define projects for strategic technology initiatives.
- Consult with project managers to stay informed of active and upcoming projects, identifying areas of overlap.
- Assist in implementing large client programs involving multiple interfaces or system modifications.
- Manage analysts/programmers as needed.
- Review software change requests to identify duplication, similarities, feasibility, and recommend prioritization actions.
- Assist in projecting software and hardware requirements for claims-related applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned and support the organization’s quality programs.
- Administer company personnel policies and staffing standards.
- Interview, hire, and establish colleague performance development plans.
- Conduct performance discussions and provide guidance, leadership, and motivation to maximize team performance.
