Job summary

State of Mississippi – ITS is seeking an intermediate-level Full Stack .NET Developer to participate in the complete software development lifecycle, with strong hands-on experience in ASP.NET Web Forms, VB.NET or C#, JavaScript, and SQL Server. This 100% onsite role is based in Jackson, MS.

The ideal candidate will gather requirements, design, develop, test, implement, train, and maintain applications, while mentoring peers and maintaining technical docs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with ASP.NET Web Forms.
• 5+ years of VB.NET or C#.
• 5+ years of JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• 5+ years designing and implementing web-based apps with Microsoft technologies.
• 5+ years across the full application development lifecycle.
• 3+ years of Windows, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, XML, and complex SQL queries.
• 1+ year of JSON, console/batch data interfaces, and WCF web services.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with VB.NET or C#.
• 5+ years of experience with Visual Studio 2010 or later.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
