Job summary

Futrend Technology, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack & DevOps Engineer to support the National Library of Medicine in building, modernizing, and securing enterprise web applications.

The role demands strong backend and frontend skills across Python/Django, Java/Spring Boot, and Node.js, plus DevOps practices in AWS environments. You will work across NIH stakeholders, design secure APIs, implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years full-stack development across backend and frontend.
• Strong Python, Java, and Node.js capabilities.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud environments.
• Hands-on MongoDB experience and database skills.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and systems integration.
• Eligibility for Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Python/Java/Node.js.
• Build secure REST and GraphQL APIs for interoperability with NIH systems.
• Develop frontend apps with React or Angular and accessibility standards.
• Manage AWS environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor performance and maintain infrastructure as code.
