Job summary

Socket.dev is looking for a Full Stack Developer with hands-on WordPress experience and solid HubSpot knowledge. You will build and maintain websites, craft custom WordPress themes/plugins, and support HubSpot CMS pages and workflows.

You’ll translate wireframes into responsive interfaces, contribute to RESTful APIs, and optimize for speed and SEO while collaborating with designers, PMs, and QA to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional full stack development experience, with strong hands-on WordPress experience and at least a solid working knowledge of HubSpot CMS.
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
  • Demonstrated experience building custom WordPress solutions (e.g., plugins, custom themes); solid general working knowledge of HubSpot's CMS, templates, and API.
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
  • Solid understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Help ensure security best practices are followed, escalating compliance questions to senior team members as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and QA teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, functionality, and user experience.
