Job summary

White Sky Technologies, LLC in Maryland is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, implement and optimize Java-based services and RESTful APIs. The role emphasizes Elasticsearch integration for fast search, indexing and retrieval, plus collaboration with stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• 14+ yrs of experience as an engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university; five years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Active TS/SCI w/ poly clearance, in-scope poly within 7 years.
• Experience integrating and querying Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development and microservice design.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular) and Java (Spring Boot).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes.
