Job summary

Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support NIH through hybrid work at the NIH in Bethesda, MD. The Senior Software Developer will contribute to CDA technologies including Authorized Access, Study Registration, RAS Clearinghouse, and DRS.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in software/SQL, Bash or Python scripting, Linux, and experience with JSON/XML, REST APIs, Agile, and testing. Desired skills include JWT/JWS, PKI, Docker, and cloud functions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software and/or SQL database programming.
• Fluency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Programming experience in a Linux environment.
• Ability to work with JSON, XML and similar structured formats.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with new technologies and changes to the infrastructure.
• Provide expertise to other developers for design and development of new solutions.
• Participate in cross product knowledge sharing to reduce silos.
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions for the product line.
• Maintain and develop code in support of the product line.
• Estimate, plan, and manage all assigned tasks and report progress.
• Document software and systems to meet product and program requirements.
