Job summary

Black Canyon Consulting (BCC) is seeking a Software Developer to support NIH in Bethesda, MD, with potential remote work. You will contribute to front-end and back-end development, participate in design discussions, and learn best practices from an experienced team.

You will work under guidance of the Technical Program Manager and Technical Lead within an agile product team, delivering a great user experience. A competitive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Python development.
• Knowledge of GoLang, C++, or Java is a plus.
• Experience with SQL databases.

Black Canyon Consulting(BCC) is searching for aSoftware Developer to support attheNational Institutes of Health (NIH). This opportunity is full time in Bethesda, MD and/or remote work.

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to development efforts that support the goals and initiatives of the product team and organization while learning Software Development practices from an experienced team. This work is performed under the guidance of the Technical Program Manager and the Technical Lead.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate may or may not be a United States citizen and must have at least a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering or equivalent work experience.

We are looking for an individual with:

• Experience developing software applications in Python
• Experience developing software with GoLang, C++, and/or Java a plus
• Experience working with SQL databases
• Ability to work with common structured documents (XML, JSON, CSV)
• Understanding of ASN.1 a plus
• Experience with version control systems like Git or SVN
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and team player
