SMBC Group is seeking a Full Stack Developer, Associate - Python/Backend to design, build, and support risk-analysis applications. You will develop full-stack solutions using Python and React, deployed on Azure, and contribute to reliable, production-ready systems.

The role emphasizes improving reliability, security, and team growth. The candidate will collaborate across teams, lead incident response, and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional software development with Python.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience writing SQL queries and performing data analysis tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Service, Functions, Containers, Storage).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
• Proficient with GitHub and VS Code; strong documentation and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable web applications using Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI) and front-end tools (React).
• Design and develop APIs and backend services to support data-driven use cases.
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure (App Service, Functions, Containers, Storage).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
• Improve application performance, reliability, and security across the stack.
• Lead incident response and perform root-cause analysis to resolve issues.
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Mentor engineers and promote consistent engineering practices.
