A tech company located in Kentucky is seeking a Full-Stack Developer to transition their program to the web. This remote contract role involves back-end and front-end development tasks, including activating CGI-BIN scripts, translating programming languages, and designing user interfaces. Candidates should have expertise in PHP, CSS, and excellent analytical skills. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred. The position offers the opportunity to work on an innovative project in a creative environment.
Ohio-based Monstromakes, LLC specializes in worldbuilding and seeks a Full-Stack Developer to move its program to the web. We have ten years developing this massive program in the Inspiration Pad Pro scripting language. The program creates campaign guides for sandbox worlds in Dungeons & Dragons. No knowledge of D&D is necessary to work here. Our goal is to put the program on the web, so people can press a button and get a "land" for their D&D games, or pay and get an entire campaign world.
We are experts in Inspiration Pad Pro but don’t know how to get it up on the web.
The person who created Inspiration Pad Pro advised us thusly: If the CGI executable (basically a command line executable) was run on a web server, the programmer would use something like exec() or shell_exec() in PHP to run the program, capture the output, and send it back to the client.
If you can make this happen and build the website, we want to talk to you!
This is a contract, remote role for a Full-Stack Developer specializing in PHP. The Full-Stack Developer will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development tasks. This includes activating the CGI-BIN for existing scripts, translating script languages as needed, designing the user interface with CSS, and otherwise contributing to the overall project. This role will involve coding, testing, debugging, and collaborating with other team members to meet project goals.
We would like your input on the program and how long you feel this would actively take. We are not asking for free samples. You will need to sign an NDA before we share code or other IP.
