What You Will Do

As a Full Stack Developer, you will support transformative initiatives within the Department of Defense's Advana program. You will develop robust software solutions that facilitate efficient access, analysis, and visualization of large datasets. Responsibilities

• Develop applications using React.js, Node.js, Javascript, CSS, jQuery, HTML, Angular, and Python
• Develop and maintain software applications that handle data access, processing, and analytics using Python and other relevant technologies
• Implement and integrate data access layer technologies such as Databricks, iQuery, Global Search API, and File Browser.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to understand data requirements and design efficient data workflows.
• Develop user-friendly, visually appealing tools and interfaces that enable both technical and non-technical users to interact with data effectively.
• Ensure the security and integrity of data through the implementation of appropriate access controls and encryption mechanisms.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain documentation for software applications, workflows, and processes.

Requirements

• US Citizenship Required: Only US Citizens are eligible for this position.
• Clearance: US Citizens, our client, will sponsor security clearance.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer with demonstrated experience creating data-related software applications from scratch.
• Front-end Technologies: Proficient with essential front-end technologies like React.js and JavaScript.
• Automation Tools: Proficiency with automation tools like UiPath or Automation Anywhere and Python for custom automation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• User Interaction: Demonstrated experience developing tools and interfaces that facilitate user interaction with data.
• Big Data Technologies: Demonstrated experience working with large datasets and leveraging big data technologies to process and analyze data efficiently.
• Libraries and Frameworks: Knowledgeable of third-party libraries like jQuery, Angular, and React.js.
• Data Access Technologies: Knowledgeable of data access layer technologies such as Databricks, iQuery, SQL/MySQL, Global Search API, and File Browser.
• Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented: Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Location: Remote or 2-3 days/week onsite in the DC Metro area.

Nice to Have

• Recent DoD or IC-related experience.
• Experience with identifying and leveraging open-source software to meet client needs where solutions already exist
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitLab
• Experience with APIs, especially REST or RPC architectural styles
• Experience with secure coding practices, including Static Code Analysis, Container library analysis, or STIGs
• Experience with working on DoD programs
• Ability to understand front-end user requirements
