Qualifications

• 4.5+ years of professional software development experience with Go and Angular/TypeScript.
• Strong full-stack skills across backend and frontend, especially during frontend redesigns.
• Extensive experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, RxJS, and NgRx.
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• Understanding of DevOps practices.
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL, and Redis.
• Hands-on with Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with WebSockets and messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• English level Upper-Intermediate or above.

Responsibilities

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Go/Angular) in the EU for a project developing a scalable digital media platform and delivering diverse content to global audiences. The customer is a leading public-service broadcaster offering a broad spectrum of content, including news, entertainment, culture, and sports. Operating multiple television channels and digital platforms, the organization has a strong presence in both traditional and modern media. Known for its high-quality programming and cultural influence, the company serves millions of viewers locally and internationally, contributing to the diversity of the media landscape. The project is focused on delivering and enhancing a broad digital media platform that provides information, education, arts, entertainment, and sports content. It aims to offer audiences comprehensive coverage of both global events and developments.

Responsibilities

• Implementing new features across the frontend (Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS) and backend (Go).
• Developing backend services in Go, integrating with MongoDB, SQL databases, and PostgresSQL caching.
• Developing reactive frontend components using RxJS and state management with NgRx.
• Implementing event-driven architecture using Kafka/RabbitMQ and real-time communication using WebSockets.
• Implementing messaging patterns and reliable data-processing pipelines.
• Integrating with GCP and on-premises systems.
• Containerizing applications using Docker and deploying them to Google Cloud Platform.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible.
• Collaborating with a team for deployments and infrastructure improvements.
• Deploying and monitoring applications in cloud environments, with a focus on scalability and performance.

Must-haves

• Professional software development experience for 4.5+ years, with strong recent hands-on experience in Go and Angular/TypeScript.
• Strong full-stack development skills, with the ability to contribute across both backend and frontend, particularly during frontend redesign initiatives.
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, RxJS, and NgRx.
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
• Understanding of DevOps.
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Experience with WebSockets and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust.
