Job summary

ECS Federal is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work with data scientists and analysts to rapidly design, implement, test, and deploy applications and cloud-based platforms for complex analyses using large datasets. This role is onsite four days a week at the USPS Inspector General's Office in Arlington, VA.

Note: Public Trust background investigation is required, with US Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) status. Salary range is $100,000–$120,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or relevant field
• 3+ years of JavaScript development experience (client-side and server-side)
• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• 5+ years of experience with languages Python, JavaScript, SQL, C#
• Knowledge of front-end languages and libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery)
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js)
• Knowledge of back-end languages (Python/C#) and frameworks (Flask, Django)
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, Teradata), web servers (Apache) and UI/UX design
• Experience designing and integrating different API architectures (REST, gRPC)
• Server management and deployment in Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, EventHub) and version control (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• Knowledge of architectural patterns (Monolith, Microservices, Serverless, Service Mesh)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design, implement, test, and deploy applications
• Communicate with end users, team lead, and team members to create and support new products and features
• Communicate with product users to enhance or troubleshoot products
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications with appealing visuals
• Write effective APIs
• Develop features with responsive design
• Write technical documentation and support data governance
• Operate in an Agile team environment
