Job summary

EPAM ищет опытного разработчика Python в США для создания сервисов и конвейеров данных, включая FastAPI, Pandas/Polars и ETL/ELT пайплайны. Работа с Airflow, dbt, Streamlit и Azure в рамках инфраструктуры как код.

Responsibilities

• Разработка и внедрение Python-сервисов и конвейеров данных с FastAPI и фоновыми задачами.
• Оптимизация обработки данных с Pandas/Polars/DuckDB и автоматизация Excel-процессинга.
• Разработка ETL/ELT-процессов и интеграция с аналитическими платформами.
• Работа с оркестраторами Airflow, dbt и Streamlit.
• Проектирование масштабируемых архитектур данных: озёра данных, звездные схемы, медальон-архитектура.
• Реализация Azure-облака: Container Apps, Storage, Service Bus, SignalR.
• Настройка CI/CD через GitHub Actions; инфраструктура как код (Bicep, Terraform, CDK).
• Применение инструментов AI в разработке: GitHub Copilot, Claude.

Задачи

• Design and deliver Python services and data pipelines using FastAPI and background jobs
• Build and tune data processing and reporting components with Pandas, Polars, DuckDB, and openpyxl
• Develop end-to-end ETL/ELT workflows and connect them to analytics platforms
• Work with orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit
• Define scalable data architectures using data lakes, medallion architecture, and star schema
• Contribute to Azure cloud-native implementations using Container Apps, Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR
• Implement and operate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Apply Infrastructure as Code with Bicep, Terraform, and CDK to automate environments
• Leverage AI-assisted development tooling like GitHub Copilot and Claude in spec-driven workflows
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to deliver outcomes across domains

Требования

• 5+ Years of experience with Python, including FastAPI, data processing, and backend services
• Hands-on experience with Pandas, Polars, DuckDB, and Excel processing workflows
• Solid background in ETL/ELT data pipeline patterns
• Deep understanding of data modeling approaches, including star schema and medallion architecture
• Ability to build distributed systems and design robust APIs
• Practical experience across the Azure ecosystem, including compute, storage, and messaging
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices in production teams
• Strong system design and problem-solving skillsConsulting mindset with the ability to align multiple stakeholders and priorities
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
• Nice to have: Experience with Airflow, dbt, and/or Streamlit in production settings, knowledge of Snowflake features such as streams, tasks, time travel, and stored procedures, experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems, familiarity with .NET for legacy systems integration, frontend exposure using Angular or Next.js, experience with distributed processing and async workflows
