Job summary

The State of Colorado seeks a Full Stack Developer to support the Colorado GEAR UP databases, scholarship systems, student portfolios, and related websites. This role focuses on data collection, storage, and reporting to improve program efficiency and outcomes.

In a hybrid setting, you will develop, maintain, and optimize web applications; administer data structures and reporting workflows; and provide training and demonstrations for staff and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Four years of experience can replace the education requirement.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft SQL Server including T-SQL and stored procedures.
• 1+ year of experience with VB.Net and ASP.Net.
• Experience with Visual Studio.
• Experience creating web-based reports or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Administer the GEAR UP database development, expansion and maintenance for staff and reporting.
• Administer the GEAR UP scholarship/database and portfolio systems for staff and institutions of higher education.
• Provide regular demonstrations and refresh training for staff and partners.
• Conduct troubleshooting and system improvements.
• Update and maintain website content; develop pages and functionality.
• Develop automated reports for data and deliver outcomes.
