Job summary

Northeastern REMC is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join our IT department, working on both front- and back-end applications, websites, and systems. You will develop custom apps, support third-party interfaces, and contribute across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment with a focus on data reporting, SQL optimization, and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, Python, PHP). Collaboration across teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Two years of experience in application and/or report development.
• Experience with SQL in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server 2017+.
• Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, Python, and PHP or other web languages.
• Ability to define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
• Experience across phases of analysis and programming.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform system analysis with stakeholders to define the problem and data flows.
• Manage projects by documenting requirements and developing implementation plans.
• Follow a consistent life cycle: investigate, design, develop, test, and maintain solutions.
• Maintain documentation and communicate progress with stakeholders.
• Train users on custom developments and advanced uses of existing systems.
• Develop advanced SQL queries against third-party data sets.
• Create custom reports using current technologies and Web Services.
• Heavily document and version control solutions.
• Understand multiple systems integration points and implement interfaces as needed.
• Support third-party interfaces by troubleshooting and coordinating with vendors.
• Manage, secure, and optimize databases; work with Ignition SCADA to design HMI screens and control logic.
• Work with industrial protocols and time-series data; support SCADA/EMS deployments.
