Job summary

Oasys is searching for an experienced Full Stack Developer who will guide a development team in learning new tools and techniques, identifying and implementing system improvements, and mentoring teammates.

The full-stack developer will design, build, and modernize secure, scalable, mission-critical applications hosted on AWS (Amazon Web Services), with responsibilities spanning application architecture, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience building and integrating complex full-stack apps.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern front-end/back-end tech stacks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend software development platforms and architectures.
• Conduct applied research to integrate new technology into mission-critical systems.
• Develop and maintain software architecture; establish coding standards and train teams.
• Review code and diagnose issues reported.
• Develop and deploy software for new and existing systems including COTS, GOTS, OSS, and custom-developed solutions.
• Lead a team of programmers to implement and maintain diverse applications.
• Translate requirements into scalable architectures and data models.
• Configure applications/servers to meet information security requirements.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs ensuring secure integrations.
• Contribute to decisions on service decomposition, API gateway usage, and distributed systems design.
• Monitor performance, scalability, and security across environments; use CloudWatch/Prometheus/Grafana.
• Lead architecture reviews to evolve monoliths into microservices/hybrid models.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
