Job summary

Big Green Egg, Atlanta-based, is seeking a Full Stack Developer, AI and Automation to build automations, integrations, and internal tools connecting ERP, CRM, and e-commerce platforms.

You will design and ship AI-powered workflows, support production deployments on Azure, and collaborate with operations, finance, customer service, and sales.

Ideal candidate turns loosely defined problems into working software in a fast-paced, brand-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience building and shipping web applications, integrations or automations, or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated ability to remove operational bottlenecks, connect departments around a shared source of truth, and figure out unfamiliar systems independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and follow through on commitments.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs beyond chat, such as agents, structured extraction or automated workflows running in production.
• Daily fluency with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Full-Stack Developer, AI & Automation will build the automations, integrations and tools that connect Big Green Egg's business systems. This role is responsible for automating operational workflows between our core platforms, shipping internal tools and dashboards used across the company, and building customer- and dealer-facing products, working closely with operations, finance, customer service, sales and our distributor and dealer network.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a can-do attitude, a strong drive to fix operational bottlenecks, and experience working across departments to connect teams and find better ways of working, with the ability to turn a loosely defined business problem into working software in a fast-paced, brand-focused environment. Success in this role will be measured by process improvement, project delivery and adoption of the tools this role ships.

Key Responsibilities

Essential functions of the role include:

• Build integrations and automations between Big Green Egg's core systems, including NetSuite (ERP), HubSpot (CRM), Shopify, Microsoft 365/SharePoint and our internal applications.
• Design, build and ship internal web tools and dashboards end to end: gather requirements directly from stakeholders, build, deploy and iterate on real feedback.
• Build customer- and dealer-facing tools such as ordering portals and self-service experiences.
• Design, build and operate AI agents and LLM-powered workflows, including email triage, document and data extraction, reporting and scheduled automations.
• Own what you ship in production on Microsoft Azure, including App Service, PostgreSQL, Logic Apps and CI/CD deployments.
• Identify manual, repetitive work across operations, finance, customer service and sales and eliminate it, whether the fix is software or simplifying the process itself.
• Support and train the people who use what you build, and iterate on their feedback.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consumer products, outdoor cooking, retail, dealer/distributor networks, e-commerce, manufacturing, hospitality, events or lifestyle brands.
• Familiarity with NetSuite ( SuiteQL , SuiteScript or REST), HubSpot, Shopify, Microsoft Azure (App Service, Entra ID, managed PostgreSQL, CI/CD with GitHub Actions), agent frameworks or Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, or data pipeline/ETL work.
• Interest in live-fire cooking, outdoor entertaining or the Big Green Egg brand community.

Work Environment, Schedule and Physical Requirements

This role is hybrid, based in Atlanta, GA. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with occasional evening or event support as business needs require.
