We’re seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to enhance a critical identity product by developing new features and integrations. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

About the Opportunity:

Location: Remote

Duration: 6-month contract (strong likelihood of extension)

Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)

What You’ll Do:

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Golang.
• Integrate and manage Apache Kafka pipelines for real-time, event-driven architectures.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL or other relational database schemas, queries, and performance.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for efficient build, test, and deploy workflows.
• Deploy and manage microservices in Kubernetes clusters.
• Participate in code reviews, system design sessions, and agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the full stack.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Backend (Golang):

• 3+ years of hands-on Golang development experience.
• Proficient in building RESTful APIs and leveraging Go concurrency patterns.
• Experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions) and event schema design.

Database:

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar RDBMS.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries, design schemas, and optimize performance.
• Familiarity with migrations and data integrity strategies.
• Frontend (React):
• 2+ years building responsive single-page applications (SPAs) with React.
• Experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• DevOps & Deployment:
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Docker, Helm, and secrets management (e.g., Vault or KMS).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to pivot in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
