Job summary

Technical Intelligence Solutions (TIS) seeks a software engineer with TS/SCI clearance for on-site work in Tysons Corner, VA. You will develop secure web and server-side apps using JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and Java/C#/Python, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will apply automated testing, usability best practices, and integrate modern frameworks to enhance performance. DoD 8570 cert is required before starting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined experience developing web applications with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks.
• Server-side development with Java, C#, or Python; automated testing experience.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Kubernetes, Git, Node.js, SQL, and Python.
• DoD 8570 compliant security certification required before start.

Security Clearance: TS/SCI (must be active in DISS).

Minimum Requirements:

• 3+ years of combined experience in one or more of the following: Developing web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular, React, or Vue, including HTML/CSS
• Server-side application development with Java, C#, or Python
• Usability analysis and automated testing (unit and E2E)
• Switching between languages and learning new ones as needed
• Experience collaborating with software development teams
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, Git, Node.js, SQL, and Python

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable web and server-side applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deliver solutions
• Apply automated testing and usability best practices to ensure system quality
• Support integration of modern frameworks and tools to enhance system performance

• JavaScript visualization libraries (D3, Leaflet, AG Grid)
• Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, REST, CORS, Web architecture, HTTP specification
• Background in Agile/Kanban methodologies, Jira, and Confluence
• On-site work required in Tysons Corner, VA.
