Full Stack Developer (.NET & Angular)

Location: New York — Local Candidates Only | Experience Level: Mid‑Senior (8‑10 Years) | Industry: IT Services / Finance

Our firm has been retained to find an experienced Full Stack Developer to join a high‑performing engineering team. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in an Agile environment and possesses a deep technical foundation in both modern front‑end frameworks and robust back‑end systems.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications that drive core business functions. You will collaborate with global, cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality features while ensuring the performance, security, and responsiveness of the platform. This is a hands‑on role that requires a commitment to clean code, thorough documentation, and proactive problem‑solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Build and maintain scalable applications using .NET and Angular (v13+)
• Architecture & Design: Collaborate with teams to define and deliver new features from concept to production
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and participate in rigorous code reviews and automation practices
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex application issues and performance bottlenecks
• Agile Integration: Actively participate in sprint planning, grooming, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives
• DevOps Support: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and uphold modern DevOps practices to ensure seamless deployment cycles

Requirements

• Experience: 8–10 years in IT, with 5+ years of hands‑on experience specifically as a Full Stack Developer.
• Front‑End Stack: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular (v13+) or Stencil.
• Back‑End Stack: Strong experience in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Web API.
• Database: Solid experience with MS SQL Server.
• Cloud & Web Services: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Tools: Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with strong analytical and debugging abilities.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
• Knowledge of financial markets, banking products, or wealth management.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and exposure to CI/CD automation.
