Own complex application work and help modernize the technology that supports Minnesota's workers' compensation system. MWCIA is looking for a Full Stack Developer who can independently deliver secure, reliable solutions across C#/.NET, React, SQL, APIs, Azure Bicep, Playwright testing, and DevOps. You will work across the full software lifecycle, solve challenging application and production problems, modernize legacy capabilities, and partner directly with technical and business teams. This role offers meaningful ownership without requiring people management, along with the opportunity to influence engineering practices, mentor others, and improve how MWCIA designs, builds, deploys, and supports software.
The Full Stack Developer independently designs, develops, tests, deploys, maintains, and supports MWCIA web applications and related software solutions. Working across front-end, back-end, database, integration, and cloud technologies, the role translates business needs into secure, reliable, maintainable applications and supports modernization of legacy systems.
You will own complex application work within established enterprise architecture and technical direction, collaborate across software development, quality engineering, platform/cloud, data, Business Solutions, and business teams, and contribute to technical design, automation, mentoring, documentation, and continuous improvement.
