Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for automotive power management and controls. You will work across UI and backend layers, building robust microservices and REST APIs.

The role requires strong Java Enterprise experience, Spring Boot, React/Angular, PostgreSQL, and experience with Agile practices. On-site in Detroit, Michigan, with opportunities to contribute to enterprise-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of OOP software development with Java Enterprise.
• Experience with Spring Platform (MVC, Boot, JDBC, Spring Cloud).
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, Jenkins or similar tools.
• Proficient in SQL and PostgreSQL schema design and tuning.
• Knowledge of microservices, REST APIs, SOAP/WSDL/XML, and SOA.
• Familiarity with Agile practices including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban and TDD.

Responsibilities

• Apply OOP design principles and XP disciplines, including pair programming and TDD.
• Develop Java Enterprise applications using Spring Platform components.
• Implement automated tests and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Work with SQL and PostgreSQL for data modeling and queries.
• Create and maintain APIs and microservices across platforms.
• Leverage microservice architecture, REST and SOAP web services; ensure SOA.
• Collaborate in Agile settings and drive tasks to completion.

We are looking for a Full stack developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. The business customer requirements pertain to automotive vehicle power management and controls/optimization.

Responsibilities

• Experience applying object-oriented design principles and practicing Extreme Programming (XP) disciplines, including pair programming and test-first/test-driven development (TDD).
• Four or more years of object-oriented development experience applying Java Enterprise concepts with the following tools and technologies:
• Spring Platform, including Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, and Spring Cloud.
• Automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment technologies, such as Jenkins CI or similar tools.
• SQL and PostgreSQL databases, including table design, creation, and modification.
• Testing tools such as Karma, Jasmine, and JUnit.
• Experience refactoring code for improved cleanliness and maintainability.
• Experience using build tools to optimize application performance.
• Understanding of the differences between delivery platforms, such as mobile and desktop, with the ability to optimize output for each platform.
• Ability to create and maintain APIs and microservices.
• Experience with microservice architecture, REST APIs, SOAP/WSDL/XML, and SOA.
• Familiarity with Agile practices, including SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and TDD.
