Job summary

Optomi is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to modernize enterprise applications and drive cloud transformation from Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on leading large-scale modernization initiatives, migrating on-prem systems to Azure, and delivering cloud-native solutions using .NET and modern front-end frameworks.

The ideal candidate brings 9+ years of full-stack experience, strong Azure capabilities, and a track record of architectural leadership in Agile environments.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 9+ years of Full Stack development experience.
  • Expertise building enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, C#, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, and Next.js.
  • Strong experience designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Dapr Workflows, and Azure AI services.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cloud migration initiatives, including the modernization of legacy on-premises applications.
  • Strong understanding of relational database technologies including SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience utilizing GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools within enterprise software development environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployment strategies.
  • Proficiency with version control systems such as Git and experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale full-stack applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, React, Angular, Next.js, and modern web technologies.
  • Lead application modernization efforts and support the migration of legacy on-premises applications to Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
  • Design, develop, and support scalable RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and microservices architectures to support business-critical applications.
  • Implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces that deliver a seamless user experience across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Design and optimize relational database solutions utilizing SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, and other enterprise data platforms.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications utilizing Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Dapr Workflows, Azure AI services, and other Azure technologies.
  • Participate in system design discussions, architecture reviews, and technical strategy planning for complex enterprise solutions.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines while promoting DevOps best practices to improve deployment automation and operational efficiency.
  • Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and performance optimization activities to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, product owners, business stakeholders, QA teams, and fellow engineers.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Azure AI services to improve development productivity and solution quality.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams while helping establish engineering standards and best practices.

Senior Full Stack Developer (.NET / Azure) Optomi, in partnership with a leading industrial manufacturing organization, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a team focused on modernizing enterprise applications and driving cloud transformation initiatives The ideal candidate will bring deep full-stack development expertise, strong cloud experience, and a passion for building innovative, high-quality solutions in a collaborative Agile environment. This is a hybrid position based in Fort Worth, TX, requiring onsite Monday through Thursday.
