Client: Big Four Consulting

Location: 100% Remote supporting Dallas, TX office

Job Title: Java Developer Contractor (Remote – U.S. Citizens Only)

Pay: $45-50 per hour (W2)

Duration: 6+month

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fullstack Java Developer with 6–9 years of experience to support the project team. The contractor will design, develop, and maintain high-performing Java-based applications, working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain Java applications.
• Collaborate with solution architects and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and participate in code reviews.
• Assist with troubleshooting and support for technical issues.
• Contribute to functional documentation and present solutions to non-technical audiences.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced full-stack Java development experience.
• Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX.
• Back-end expertise: Java, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST APIs, JUnit.
• U.S. Citizenship (required for contract eligibility).
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Oracle, MariaDB/MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
