ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services company, seeks a Full Stack Developer to design and build complex applications for federal clients. You will work in an Agile environment to develop scalable, maintainable software and modern web interfaces for microservices-based systems.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate requirements into technical specifications, participate in sprint planning, and ensure code quality through reviews and documentation.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5–10 years of experience with programming or web development activities.
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, frontend frameworks (Angular/React) and Node.js backend frameworks.
• Experience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON).
• Understanding of NoSQL databases and AWS DynamoDB is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented principles and DevOps culture.
• Ability to identify reusable functionality and implement as components.
• Familiarity with IT standards, SDLC and PM frameworks.
• Exposure to various industries and operational solutions and tools.
• Experience with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, etc.
• Experience designing solutions using AWS; AWS SDKs a plus.
• US permanent residents able to obtain Public Trust clearance; lived in US 3 of last 5 years.

ASM is seeking a Full Stack Developer who is passionate about designing and building complex applications for our federal government clients. The successful Full Stack Developer should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and a deep understanding of applications design and implementation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with technical and business team members to develop and maintain business solutions following agile development principles and practices.

• Designs and develops applications with an eye towards simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.

• Sets and adheres to software coding, best practices, and style guides to ensure consistency. Participates in code reviews.

• Participates in the sprint planning meetings to assign story points and commit to the user stories planned for a given weekly sprint.

• Supports troubleshoot problems with existing applications.

• Designs, builds, and maintains, monitors, and tests infrastructure.

• Design and develop a modern highly responsive web-based user interface for Microservices based web application.

• Leverage the latest tools and techniques of web UI/UX Development spectrum.

• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

• Supports development of technical documentation.

• Supports IT program requirements and metrics development, definition, data quality assessment, and strategic analysis.

• Collects and analyzes data to produce forecasts, assessments, recommendations, and reports.

• Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of applications.

• Translates requirements into technical specifications and diagrams and implements them in conformance with architectural and business requirements.

• Assist with the preparation of program level and user level documentation and training manuals as required.

• Assists with the development and maintenance of operational and system level documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.

• 5-10 years of experience with programming or web development activities.

• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, front-end frameworks, such as Angular and React, and Node.js back-end application frameworks.

• Experience with web services (SOAP, RESTful, XML, JSON, etc.).

• Understanding of NoSQL databases, and experience with AWS DynamoDB is a plus.

• Thorough understanding of Object-Oriented principles (Analysis and Design), DevOps culture.

• Identifies reusable functionality and implements it as a reusable component.

• Knowledge of IT standards, methodologies, system development life cycle and project management frameworks.

• Exposure to and familiarity with various industries and specific operational solutions and tools.

• Demonstrable experience with: GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, etc.

• Experience in designing solutions using one or more Amazon Web Services.

• Knowledge of AWS SDKs is a plus.

• Candidates must be permanent residents of the US and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with React and/or Express.js.

• Experience with Jest testing framework and MSW API mocking.

• Experience with AWS SDK for JavaScript.

• Experience with Spring Boot and Java.

• Experience with CMS Marketplace eligibility and appeal processing.

• Experience / knowledge of CMS processes, standards and Design System.

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
