Job summary

Kforce Inc. is seeking a remote Full Stack Developer to join the team in Atlanta, GA.

The role focuses on retiring legacy dependencies, improving platform stability, and advancing cloud modernization, including a full UI rewrite to the latest Vue.js and backend rewrites in Java/Spring Boot. Candidates should have 3-4+ years in enterprise frontend development, strong Java/Spring Boot experience, and hands-on cloud knowledge (GCP preferred).

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of frontend software engineering in an enterprise environment.
• Expert in Vue.js with strong JavaScript experience.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot backend.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong communication and collaboration in paired associate-anchor + contractor model.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude / Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend and backend components as part of a unified platform.
• Refactor UI to the latest Vue.js version and retire legacy dependencies.
• Contribute to platform stability, observability, and cloud modernization efforts.
• Lead or collaborate in cloud migrations (GCP) and backend service rewrites.
• Improve reliability, monitoring, and tooling across the stack.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client seeking a remote Full Stack Developer to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This engagement focuses on retiring our remaining legacy dependencies, completing platform stability and observability improvements, and advancing a broader cloud modernization effort. The work spans backend service rewrites, cloud migrations (GCP), and reliability/observability tooling, but also will require a full rewrite to the latest version of Vue.js on the UI.

Requirements

• 3-4+ years of front end software engineering experience in an enterprise environment
• Expert on the fronted with javascript and specifically Vue.JS
• Experience with Java/springboot backend
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform strongly preferred)
• Strong communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate closely as part of a paired associate-anchor + contractor working model
• Demonstrable, hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools - specifically Claude and/or GitHub Copilot - to accelerate day-to-day development

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
