Job summary

BNY is seeking a Vice President, Data Management Engineer to join the Finance Platform’s Client Profitability Engineering team in Pittsburgh, PA. You will translate business needs into scalable ETL/ELT models and build robust Spark-based data pipelines while integrating AI-driven development practices.

You will collaborate with full-stack engineers, data engineers, and business users to deliver data solutions with strong governance, security, and CI/CD discipline.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and implement large-scale ETL/ELT solutions in financial services.
• Proficient with Spark-based data pipelines and data modeling.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Java and BI/reporting tools.
• Familiarity with cloud components and big data ecosystems.
• Knowledge of API development and inter-process communication.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into scalable ETL/ELT models for data integration.
• Develop robust data pipelines using Spark and document installation and operation procedures.
• Define reusable components within the ETL/ELT framework and ensure data quality.
• Establish optimal data flows for system integration and data migration.
• Integrate AI-enabled development approaches and maintain CI/CD pipelines across environments.
