Job summary

Goldman Sachs, Inc. is seeking a Full-stack Software Engineer to join the Data Engineering team. You will help improve the Legend data platform, support curated data offerings, and enable data-driven decision making across the business.

You will tackle distributed systems, data access, security paradigms, and UI work to visualize data. Strong collaboration with data producers and consumers is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in a computational field (CS, AppliedMath, Engineering)
• 2–7 years of experience in distributed system design and in a team-focused environment
• 2–7 years of experience using Java, Python, and/or React

Responsibilities

• Design & develop modern data management tools to curate our most important data sets, models and processes.
• Contribute to an open-source technology – https://github.com/finos/legend
• Drive adoption of cloud technology for data processing and warehousing
• Engage with data consumers and producers to design appropriate models to suit the business
