Job summary

UpCloud is seeking a Full Stack Developer to help build cloud servers and other core products within a distributed microservices architecture using Go and Perl. You will contribute to provisioning, compute, and storage components and collaborate across teams to advance the cloud stack.

Our stack includes React, TypeScript, and Next.js for frontend work, with opportunities to engage across modern API-driven development.

Qualifications

Skills in full-stack or backend development, with Perl and Golang as core stack.
Understanding of virtualization, Linux servers, bare-metal, or large-scale systems.
Experience with API development and modern practices.
Proactive mindset with readiness to assume responsibility.

Responsibilities

Work as part of an experienced team focused on our core software: Compute, storage, and provisioning.
Improve and further develop the provisioning and components behind the cloud stack.
Focus on the Compute stack, including VM provisioning, CPU, and GPU.
Enhance and upgrade internal integrations and collaborate with other development teams.
Help build the next level of cloud offerings like improved storages and compute plans.
