Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack or Backend Software Engineer to design and deliver features across cloud-native platforms and microservices.

You will work within inclusive, agile teams to solve complex problems, improve scalability, and ensure reliability for mission-critical systems worldwide. Candidates should have practical experience with Python/Java/Go/C/C++, RESTful APIs, and web technologies (HTML/CSS/React).

Qualifications

• Meet one of the following within the past 3 years or near future: Bachelor's with 0 years experience; or related program with 1 year; or high school diploma with 2 years experience.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (Python, Java, Go, C/C++, JavaScript/TypeScript) and solid data structures, algorithms, and OOP.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React), and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Linux workflows and Git version control.
