Job summary

Talanto is seeking a highly autonomous Full-Stack / Backend Engineer to simplify complex systems and build 0 to 1 products for a rapidly growing fintech infrastructure platform.

You will join a small, highly technical team responsible for APIs, data models, and scaling to millions of requests per day, with direct access to founders and customers. Remote-ready with relocation options for exceptional candidates.

Qualifications

• 1-10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend or full-stack engineering ability.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
• High ownership, low ego, and a bias toward shipping.
• Exceptional new grads with strong internships, co-ops, or projects may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Unify fragmented systems behind one clean API and data model.
• Build integrations with legacy and on-prem systems.
• Scale a platform handling millions of API requests per day.
• Improve performance, caching, reliability, testing, and observability.
• Ship production code quickly and work directly with customers and founders.
