Job summary

Amentum Advanced Solutions is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications across full stack. You will implement AI/ML data pipelines and RAG systems for critical workflows while ensuring DOE compliance and robust security requirements.

The role collaborates with security, infra, and cross-functional teams to support national security and customer objectives in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with hands-on AI experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience (.NET, Python, React/Blazor).
• Experience with AWS cloud infra, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with AI/ML integration and data pipelines (ETL, NiFi, Spark).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software applications.
• Implement AI/ML data pipelines and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems for mission-critical workflows.
• Ensure all deliverables meet DOE compliance, security standards, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to support national security and customer objectives.
