Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript. You will build REST APIs, support AI-powered capabilities, and ensure secure, cloud-native solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Role emphasizes SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and production support, with on-site work in Wisconsin three days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience building Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript applications with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and modern SDLC practices.
• Exposure to Generative AI technologies, LLMs, and AI governance.
• Proficient in Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and DevSecOps concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern software applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript.
• Build and integrate AI-powered capabilities including LLMs and RAG into business solutions.
• Develop and support REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including deployment and production support.
• Contribute to AI experimentation and production implementations with focus on security and governance.
