Job summary

MPR Associates, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer – Full Stack AI Applications to join our Alexandria, VA team.

You will build cutting‑edge AI-driven applications from the ground up, focusing on document analysis, verification, and scalable B2B solutions for the energy sector. You will work across the stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end AI services, integrating RAG techniques and cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience in production applications.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop new AI-powered applications from scratch using modern full-stack technologies.
• Integrate AI/ML components, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for document processing.
• Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components across the stack.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (ECS, S3, Bedrock, API Gateway, Route 53).
• Build tools to improve efficiency in the nuclear energy sector.
• Work in a small, high-impact team to influence product direction quickly.
