Everforth Apex is seeking an experienced Full Stack AI Engineer to design and scale internal AI applications from UI to Python services, databases, and LLMs. The role focuses on end‑to‑end execution of AI capabilities and automation across engineering teams in a on‑site Charlotte environment.

The candidate will own core tasks, build robust AI solutions, and collaborate with architects to extend the platform enterprise‑wide, leveraging Generative AI and agentic approaches to automate workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 4–6 years of professional AI development experience with hands‑on deployment.
• Deep proficiency in Python, React, database development, and integration; hands‑on experience building AI applications.

Role Overview

An experienced Full Stack AI Engineer is required to build and expand a scalable internal artificial intelligence application. The platform leverages Generative AI and agentic capabilities to assist engineering teams in analyzing use cases, addressing complex queries, and automating workflows. This position requires end-to-end technical execution across the entire application stack, from user interfaces and databases to Python services, Large Language Models, and intelligent automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance robust, end-to-end Generative AI applications.
• Build responsive front-end interfaces, back-end Python services, and integrated databases.
• Integrate and optimize Large Language Models, AI agents, and automated workflows.
• Take complete ownership of technical tasks and independently deliver items from the product backlog.
• Collaborate closely with technical leadership and architects to scale the internal AI platform across the enterprise.
• Contribute to establishing scalable technical approaches for new AI capabilities and application enhancements.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

Experience: Four to six years of professional experience in artificial intelligence development, with a strong emphasis on practical, hands‑on application deployment.

Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, React, database development, and integration. Proven hands‑on experience building AI applications, integrating Large Language Models, and developing agentic systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience within the financial services sector.
• Proven track record of taking Generative AI applications from initial concept through to production implementation.
• Ability to discuss architectural decisions, system design challenges, and specific contributions to previous AI projects.
