Job summary

Systems Technology Group, Inc. (STG) is seeking a Full Stack AEM Developer with Java, Angular and Apache Sling experience in Dearborn, MI for a direct client assignment.

This long-term W2 position offers immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance where needed and is based in the Detroit area. The role covers full-stack design, development, testing and maintenance across UI and backend APIs, with collaboration across product owners, designers and architects.

Qualifications

• Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
• Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with microservices or SOA.
• Interest in AI tools to support development and testing.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot or similar.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and requirements.
• Design, develop, and deliver software using multiple tools, languages, frameworks, methodologies (like agile) and technologies.
• Assess software requirements and select technology stack and deployment strategy.
• Create high-level software architecture designs.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, architects.
• Define and implement software test strategies and processes.
• Improve performance and adopt new technologies for efficiency.
• Apply test-driven development and CI/CD practices.
• Support security practices for data protection.
• Create user-friendly interfaces.
• Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and participate in stack enhancements.
