Job Title: Full Service Leader

Be a part of something bigger, leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing Salon Business Consultants. Deliver on divisional goals and objectives. Contribute to achieving day-to-day objectives.

Ideal candidate would need to reside in or near: Murfreesboro or Nashville Tennessee (TN) or Huntsville or Madison Alabama (AL)

Also will consider: those in Memphis or Knoxville TN and Birmingham AL

Essential Function

To coach, mentor, and develop Distributor Sales Consultants. Deliver on divisional goals and objectives. Contribute to achieving day-to-day objectives.

Primary Duties

  1. 30% Establish sales and promotion goals for the Distributor Sales Consultants and communicate those goals to DSCs. Plan and conduct sales meetings, including logistics, participants, presenters, and content. Identify potential key accounts and develop strategies to grow them. Maintain relationships with manufacturers. Schedule meetings and education programs with manufacturer reps, technicians, and educators.
  2. 30% Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to DSCs. Travel regularly (3-4 days/week) with DSCs to assess relationships, evaluate sales skills, and provide feedback. Ensure regular client contact and oversee customer relationships.
  3. 20% Visit or communicate with customers to assess service levels and address issues. Promote and support education events and customer engagement.
  4. 10% Maintain communication with supervisors and the company through meetings, emails, and reports. Respond promptly to requests and share important business information.
  5. 10% Monitor employee performance, conduct appraisals, address performance issues, develop staff, and manage territories. Complete sales and activity reports.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business
  • At least one year supervising sales or operations employees
  • Four years of direct sales experience

  • Consultative selling and negotiating skills
  • Willingness to travel, including overnights and weekends
  • Reliable transportation and sufficient personal vehicle insurance

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

The environment involves typical safety precautions in offices, retail, and travel settings. The work is mostly sedentary but may include walking, standing, bending, and light carrying. No special physical demands are required.
