The client is a nationally recognized litigation firm focused on product warranty and lemon law defense for the automotive industry. With offices in NY, and CA, the firm delivers high-quality representation in state and federal courts across 21 states—including California—while maintaining the collegial environment of a boutique firm

Role Overview

In this leadership role, you will serve as a strategic partner, guiding high-volume warranty and lemon law litigation, growing client relationships, and shaping firm strategy. This position is fully remote within California and reports into the West Coast leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Litigation Efforts: Manage and oversee product warranty and lemon law cases in state and federal courts, binding arbitrations, and administrative forums.
  • Client Strategy & Advising: Provide strategic counsel, pre-litigation claim handling, and risk mitigation through early resolution programs.
  • Business Development: Expand the firm’s presence in the California automotive sector and adjacent industries.
  • Mentorship & Team Development: Support associates through structured mentoring, training, and career development
  • Policy & Compliance: Monitor proposed lemon law or warranty legislation and advise clients on impacts and lobbying strategies Firm Leadership: Contribute to operational planning, equity growth strategies, and firm governance alongside other partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Licensed to practice in California (multi-state licensure preferred)
  • 7+ years of complex civil litigation experience, ideally in automotive warranty or lemon law defense or products warranty or liability defense.
  • Proven track record as lead counsel in state court, federal court, arbitration, or administrative hearings
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$250,000 – $350,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
