Job summary

Law Firms is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its team on a fully remote basis across Massachusetts. The role supports attorneys and clients in divorce, custody, and related family law matters.

You will prepare pleadings, manage case files, and maintain deadlines while communicating professionally with clients and courts. A strong background in family law and excellent writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
• Strong understanding of Massachusetts family law procedures and terminology.
• Experience with divorce, custody, child support, and related matters preferred.
• Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout the lifecycle of family law matters.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Assist with discovery preparation and responses.
• Coordinate court filings, hearings, deadlines, and attorney calendars.
• Conduct legal and factual research as needed.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Assist attorneys with trial and hearing preparation.
• Maintain accurate case-management records and ensure deadlines are met.
• Handle confidential and sensitive client information with professionalism.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$80,000 – $100,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
