The Service Quality Organization (SQO) is seeking an associate with experience in Microsoft Power Platform, specifically in Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data visualization, app development, and process automation using these tools. Responsibilities include designing and implementing solutions that drive efficiency and enhance decision-making processes across SQO. The candidate should be able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.

  • Develops, maintains, and collects structured and unstructured data sets for analysis and reporting
  • Uses Power Platform (Power BI, Automate, Apps, Sharepoint) to generate reports and dashboards
  • Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports, and other end-user information portals or resources
  • Researches and evaluates innovative analytical methodologies, approaches, and solutions
  • Collaborates with analytic and data teams to set objectives, approaches, and work plans
  • Interprets and communicates analytic results to analytical and non-analytical business partners
  • Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
  • Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires direction and receives guidance where needed

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of data analysis and/or reporting
  • 1+ year experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI integrated in the Power Platform
  • Experience creating automated reports
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards
  • Experience in managed care or health care sector
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to learn business areas quickly

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in SQL or SAS - reviewing, analyzing and problem solving queries
  • Experience with MS Sharepoint and MS Loop
  • Prior experience working in a system analytics and/or data warehousing environment
  • Prior experience with reviewing documents and extracting the data elements necessary for project build requirements and reporting needs

Work-At-Home Requirements

  • To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
  • Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
  • Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$60,800 - $82,900 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
