Job summary

Hoplite Solutions is seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support mission-facing technical operations, infrastructure deployment, and operational rehearsal activities in Chantilly, Virginia. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering) with a minimum of 3-6 years' experience in a relevant technical field
• Medical clearance required
• Government certification or equivalent
• Understanding mobile technologies and implementations
• Ability to evaluate and articulate technical risk
• Understanding of computer networking architecture
• Understanding basic internet functionality, ISPs and network traffic
• System administration knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac OS, Mobile OS's etc.
• Ability to convey technical and non-technical information clearly (verbal and written)
• Ability to apply analytical thinking to decision-making and problem solving
• Understanding of fundamental technical network analysis
• Familiarity with large-scale service components (webservers, databases, load balancers, caching servers, storage cluster)

This role will focus on managing and installing network technologies, supporting operational launch platforms, training mission partners, and applying strong network security and systems administration knowledge to help ensure secure, reliable, and effective mission execution. Responsibilities:

• Manage and install network technologies such as routers, switches, database servers and related technologies to rehearse operational activity.
• Train colleagues and mission partners on operational methodology, tool development, equipment functionality, and technical/operational deconfliction.
• Obtain operational infrastructure for use as intermediate operational launch platforms. Mandatory Requirements:
• MEDICAL CLEARANCE REQUIRED
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering), with a minimum of 3-6 years' experience in a relevant technical field to the position
