Job summary

Probity in Chantilly, VA seeks a highly skilled professional to manage and install network technologies while maintaining an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. You will train colleagues and mission partners on operational methodology, tool development, equipment functionality, and deconfliction.

The position requires a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with 7+ years of related experience, deep networking knowledge, and the ability to articulate technical risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with 7+ years in a related field.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with polygraph.
• Government certification or equivalent.
• Understanding of technical specifications.
• Ability to evaluate and articulate technical risk.
• Understanding computer networking architecture.
• Understanding basic internet functionality, ISPs and network traffic.
• System administration knowledge of Windows, Unix, Linux, Mac OS, and mobile OSs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

PLEASE NOTE: This position requires an ACTIVE Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. To be considered for this position, you MUST have an ACTIVE Clearance Level of Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Responsibilities:

• Manage and install network technologies such as routers, switches, database servers and related technologies to rehearse operational activity.
• Train colleagues and mission partners on operational methodology, tool development, equipment functionality, and technical/operational deconfliction.
• Obtain operational infrastructure for use as intermediate operational launch platforms.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline (i.e., Computer Science, Computer Engineering), with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in a relevant technical field to the position.
• Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph.
• Government certification or equivalent.
• Understanding of technical specifications.
• Ability to evaluate and articulate technical risk.
• Understanding of computer networking architecture.
• Understanding the basic internet functionality, ISPs and network traffic.
• Possess system administration level knowledge of operating systems (i.e., Window, Unix, Linux, Mac OS, Mobile OS’s etc.).
• Ability to convey technical and non-technical information in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to apply analytical thinking to decision-making and problem solving.
• Ability to research, analyze, prioritize, problem solve, synthesize large amounts of data/information, and to work several tasks concurrently with minimum supervision.
• Understanding of fundamental technical network analysis.

Desired Requirements:

• Certifications: OSCP, OSWE, GXPN, GPEN, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with commonly used large-scale service components (webservers, databases, load balancers, caching servers, storage cluster, etc.).
• Understanding Mobile technologies and implementations.
