Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Receiving Associate to support warehouse operations at our Schererville, IN store.

Responsibilities include unloading, auditing and staging product, ensuring accurate receiving paperwork, and rotating inventory while adhering to safety procedures. The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience ( forklift experience a plus ), the ability to work in varying weather and extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to work in different weather conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Available to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Act in a manner consistent with the company's core values.
• Ensure products are staged for counting and inspection.
• Ensure all receiving paperwork is properly completed.
• Ensure products are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
• Oversee the rotation of inventories within the warehouse.
• Perform other related duties as directed by management.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe lifting practices and SOPs.
• Complete required department and equipment training ( forklift certified ).
