Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $19.00/hr

Are you a criminal Justice major seeking experience or a customer service expert looking for a change? Securitas Security Services, based in Wilmington, is hiring several officers for Full and Part Time Shifts. Locations and shifts vary depending on the client site. We serve Middlesex and Essex county businesses, schools, retail stores, banks, and more! We train qualified individuals to perform essential duties, emphasizing our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

This position requires excellent customer service skills, critical thinking, and the ability to intervene and deescalate situations. No prior security experience is required.

Typical daily duties include: observing and reporting activities and incidents, patrolling the site, inspecting safety devices, controlling access, protecting evidence, and responding to emergencies. Logs and reports are also prepared as required.

Job Requirements: The physical and mental requirements include seeing, hearing, speaking, writing clearly, occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Physical demands include lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
