Full / Part Time Lead Preschool Teacher at Acquire4Hire

Pay Range: $12.00/hr - $14.00/hr

Summary

Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth in a Christian early learning center. We seek a caring, energetic, patient, flexible, and compassionate individual to join our teaching team. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience with children aged 2-5 years, pass a background check, and CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Provide materials and resources for exploration and imaginative play.
  • Serve lunch and snacks, assist in potty training as needed.
  • Teach basic skills like color, shape, number, letter recognition, hygiene, and social skills.
  • Establish and enforce behavior rules and classroom procedures.
  • Read books to classes or small groups.
  • Organize activities to promote physical, mental, and social development.
  • Observe and evaluate children's performance and well-being.
  • Identify and discuss any developmental or health concerns with parents and specialists.
  • Meet with parents to discuss progress and developmental needs.
  • Follow center policies and prepare class materials.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of childcare experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High School Diploma or GED; college degree in a child-related field or CDA is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • CDA (Child Development Associate).
