Job summary

Cleaning & Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our buildings. You will perform vacuuming, mopping, restroom scrubbing, carpet shampooing, light bulb replacements, and trash disposal, while upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety.

The ideal candidate has experience with cleaning equipment, a strong work ethic, excellent stamina, and dependable transportation to the job site. English speaking is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Driver's license or reliable transportation to the worksite.
• English speaking preferred.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Excellent stamina and physical health.
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs
