Job summary

Full Life Care in Everett, WA is seeking a Home Care Supervisor to lead and support our team of home care aides. This role focuses on coordinating interviews, training, care plans, and on-site supervision to ensure high-quality, compassionate in-home services.

You will manage staff schedules, monitor client needs, complete annual reviews, and ensure compliance with care plans and agency standards while collaborating with clients, families, and care team members.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Associate's degree or equivalent experience in social services or related field.
• Minimum of one year supervisory experience; health or social services setting preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to travel locally and meet in-person with clients and team members.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and regularly update individualized home care service plans.
• Ensure aide compliance with care plans and agency standards.
• Monitor a caseload of clients receiving long-term in-home care services.

• Assist clients and families with empathy and professionalism.
• Facilitate smooth transitions from intake to ongoing care supervision.
• Maintain accurate client and caregiver records in the care management system.
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust as needed to meet organizational goals.

Our Home Care Supervisors:

• Coordinate and oversee the interviewing, orientation, and performance management of home care aides
• Provide direct supervision and support to home care aides, including scheduling, training, and conflict resolution
• Develop and regularly update individualized home care service plans
• Ensure aide compliance with care plans and agency standards
• Monitor and manage a caseload of clients receiving long-term in-home care services
• Maintain frequent communication with clients, caregivers, case managers, and care team members
• Support home care aides in delivering preventive care and beneficial services to clients
• Conduct on-site visits and perform annual evaluations of direct care staff
• Ensure compliance with electronic visit verification, timekeeping accuracy, and documentation procedures
• Respond to and appropriately refer telephone calls, emails, and client/caregiver concerns
• Assist clients, families, and informal supports with empathy and professionalism
• Facilitate smooth transitions for new clients from intake to ongoing care supervision
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and caregiver records in the care management system
• Monitor staffing levels and adjust as needed to meet organizational goals
• Collaborate with leadership and complete tasks or projects as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed!

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Associate's degree in social services, home economics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience; experience in a health or social service setting preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance
• Ability to travel locally and meet in-person reviews with clients, caregivers, and team members
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs and assist with client mobility as needed
