1099 Full-Desk Recruiter (Remote – Legal or Hospitality Focus)

Overview:

We’re looking for a driven, entrepreneurial 1099 Full-Desk Recruiter to join our team. This fully remote, commission-based role is ideal for experienced recruiters who want to run their own desk, control their income, and specialize in either legal or hospitality recruiting.

You’ll be responsible for both business development and candidate placement—generating your own leads, managing client relationships, and delivering top talent in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Development

  • Source and engage new client opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand hiring needs and present customized recruiting solutions
  • Build lasting partnerships with law firms, restaurant groups, hotel brands, or related industry leaders

Candidate Recruitment

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process: intake, sourcing, screening, submittals, interview prep, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination
  • Leverage job boards, internal databases, and direct outreach to identify top candidates
  • Maintain a strong understanding of niche-specific roles (e.g., litigators, case managers, general managers, chefs, etc.)

Process Management

  • Keep accurate records in the ATS/CRM and stay on top of pipeline activity
  • Hit weekly goals for outreach, submittals, and interviews scheduled
  • Work independently but receive support through coaching, systems, and shared tools

  • Start by earning up to 50% of every placement fee, with the opportunity to unlock up to 60% as you hit key billing milestones. Your earning potential is unlimited and directly tied to your performance-no caps, no ceilings.
  • Potential for performance-based bonuses and client handoff opportunities as you grow

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in full-desk recruiting or a similar agency role is strongly preferred
  • Industry knowledge in hospitality or legal recruiting is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to land clients and close placements
  • Strong communication, follow-through, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
