Job description

Amca is building America’s new industrial base. Since the 1990s, our ability to build new aviation and military systems and maintain the ones we already have has eroded. Today, the gap between what the nation needs to produce and what it is capable of producing is the largest it has been in generations.

To help close that gap, Amca rapidly develops and manufactures new critical components and subsystems required to build and sustain the planes, military vehicles, and core infrastructure America needs. Today, we operate seven factories nationwide, including our advanced prototyping and testing headquarters in El Segundo, and deliver avionics, hydraulic, and electrical components for platforms such as the F-35, F-16, F/A-18, 737MAX, 787, A320neo, A321, Mk-48, and M1 Abrams.

Overview

Our full cycle technical recruiter will own our engineering and non-technical roles from introduction through close, supporting candidates at every stage of the process. This is a ground floor opportunity to shape every part of our recruiting process from end to end.

Responsibilities
  • Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development: Proactively identify and engage top technical talent through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and creative outreach strategies
  • Intake & Hiring Strategy: Partner closely with hiring managers and engineering leadership to define role requirements, develop scorecards, align on candidate profiles, and build tailored search strategies for each open position.
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct thorough initial screens to evaluate technical aptitude, career motivation, culture alignment, and role fit before advancing candidates through the interview process.
  • Interview Coordination & Process Management: Design and manage structured interview loops, coordinate schedules across multiple stakeholders, and ensure a seamless, timely candidate experience from start to finish.
  • Candidate Experience: Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for every candidate, providing transparent communication, timely feedback, and a thoughtful experience that reflects Amca's values and brand.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system, Greenhouse - track key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pass-through rates, and source effectiveness, and use data to continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Talent Branding: Support Amca's branding across job postings, career page content, social media presence, and participation in hiring events.
Qualifications
  • Required: 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on technical and engineering roles (specifically mechanical and electrical engineering roles).
  • Proven ability to source passive candidates, build relationships, and close quickly
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools
  • Demonstrated skill in managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining quality and speed.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a track record of landing top-choice candidates in competitive markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels of the organization.
